Isabelle de Zoysa is a visual artist based partly in London and partly in a remote part of the French Alps. She is exploring various means of expression including sculpture, ceramics and installations.
Isabelle works with various techniques and materials, often combining them, to develop different aspects of a sculptural piece: form, size, mass, texture, colour and use of the void, amongst others. She is inspired by the skies above us and the mountains of the world. Her pieces have a theatrical quality and she likes to experiment with transforming them through lighting, placement, backdrops or poetic sequences.
